Our purpose is to instill in student-athletes sports should be utilized as a platform in order for every student athlete to succeed in life free from limitations. We want to provide the support and resources for young athletes who are committed to both sports and education.
Our Vision
We are committed to nurturing our young Future Leaders. We believe by developing a strong foundation student athletes will be given an opportunity to enhance their on-the-court skillset and overall training. The benefits to being a student-athlete includes perseverance and responsibility, commitment and time management. We understand that it takes a level of self discipline and we want to assist in maintaining a high performance level in both athletics and academics.
An extended aspect to our program involves mentoring and volunteerism. Often times in our youth we come across a person who has inspired us to be better person or become part of something bigger. Mentoring provides personal support to facilitate success in school and beyond. Students who develop mentoring relationships will have an opportunity to thrive. Volunteering offers student-athletes a chance to make a difference in their own communities while also developing their leadership skills and the ability to be a true team player.
Why We Do It
The Future Leaders organization thrive on sports inevitably instilling the necessary skills needed to succeed in life. We serve the Houston community by directly making a positive impact on our youth through sports and student - athletes are given the opportunity to broaden their perspective in becoming a Future Leader on and off the court.
